Housing Programs

Re-Ward Third Ward, Inc. Counselors and referral Attorneys through the Houston Legal Aide and/or Houston Volunteer Lawyer Association assist families in danger of losing their homes when they are behind or in danger of falling behind on mortgage payments, or those clients looking to refinance their homes.  Attorneys provide direct legal representation to clients in foreclosure defense cases and in matters relating to other real estate related claims and defenses where appropriate.
Homeownership Counseling
Re-Ward Third Ward provides one-on-one home counseling to first time home buyers who are interested in knowing the facts about buying a home and information related to homeowners.  Re-Ward Third Ward, Inc. offers monthly First-Time Homebuyer Workshops for perspective home buyers 
Housing Development
Re-Ward Third Ward, Inc. Housing Development Department acquires vacant land, abandoned and foreclosed properties for the purpose of building and/or the rehabilitation of properties to become decent, safe and affordable housing targeted towards low and low-to-moderate income individuals and families in the Northern section of Houston's historical Third Ward community. 
First Time Homebuyer Workshops
Re-Ward Third Ward, Inc. offers eight hour First Time Homebuyer Workshops designed to educate potential home buyers on every component involved in purchasing a home.
Financial Assistance
Re-Ward Third Ward, Inc. does not offer financial assistance to our clients.  Referrals may be provided to local non-profit government agencies that may assist you.  Re-Ward Third Ward, Inc. does not benefit in any way from referrals of the before mentioned services.
